Dhakhayani Balasramam is a home for Destitute and Orphan Children established in the year 2004. It is a subsidiary project of Swamy Vivekananda Cultural Society, Kerala. The organization is also duly recognized by Orphanage Control Board of Kerala. The Balasramam is situated at Elambulassery in Palakkad District.

We had a humble beginning with just two inmates and now we have 40 boys who hail from almost all districts of Kerala. They come from the under privileged sections of the society and are given education, food and shelter.

We meet our needs through public collection. Self sufficiency remains a distant dream. It is essential to have a corpus fund which will helps us tied over in times of need.

There should be no orphans in our land. The Balasramam has to grow more to be a beacon of hope to countless children. We appeal each and every one to come forward and help the Balasramam in the efforts to exist and progress.
